Astrobots A-04 Athenia

The atmospheric design really sells the idea of a malfunctioning medic—the slightly off-center gaze adds to the unease. It's got a surprising heft for its size, making it feel more like a real artifact than a toy. Definitely glad I gave this enigmatic unit a spot on my shelf.

The transformation from its dormant transport mode to the active astrobot is surprisingly fluid, and the little details on the Venus class uniform are beautifully painted out of the box. It stands nicely on its own, with a solid weight that feels like a real unit.

I wasn't sure what to expect from a unit designed for comatose colonists, but the rehabilitation programming is surprisingly detailed and the build quality feels solid. It took a little while to get the docking sequence right, but once I did, the response time was spot on.
