The phoenix mode looks stunning on my shelf, and the transformation to robot is surprisingly smooth once you figure the wing tabs out. The sword accessory fits securely in his hand for a dynamic pose.

The cannon locks into place with a satisfying click, and the phoenix mode holds its pose way better than I expected. Sword fits snugly in either hand, which is a nice touch. Been fiddling with it for an hour and still not tired of it.

The transformation to phoenix mode is more intuitive than I expected, though the instructions could be a bit clearer on a few steps. The sword accessory has a nice weight to it in hand.
