Gundam Fix Metal Composite Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin - RX-78-2 Gundam (40th Anniversary Ver.)

The metallic paint on this 40th Anniversary version is a stunner in person, and the all-new Katoki color scheme makes it pop way more than the standard release. The die-cast joints feel rock solid out of the box, though I’d still handle the shoulder armor gently during poses.

The Katoki supervision really shows in the panel lines and proportions, they’re crisp without being overdone. Colors pop beautifully against the dark metal frame, and it’s a solid display piece for the 40th. Glad I picked this up.

The metallic paint on this 40th anniversary RX-78-2 is stunning, with a deep shine that really catches the light. I was worried about the price, but the die-cast joints feel rock solid and the articulation is smooth right out of the box.
