MakeToys MTRM-17 Booster

The box art alone got me hyped, but the real surprise is how the Re:master gimmick makes the scale feel genuinely fresh without losing the classic transforming-robot vibe. It’s got a solid, chunky weight to it that makes posing feel sturdy, and the joints hold tight in both modes.

The transformation sequence on this Booster figure is surprisingly intuitive for such a complex design, and the new twist on the classic engineering makes it feel fresh. I've been impressed by the solid joint tolerances right out of the box.

The new scale and gimmicks are interesting, but the engineering feels a bit fiddly in robot mode. It looks great on the shelf, though I wish the transformation steps were more intuitive for the price.
