Quick answer
The S.H. Figuarts Loid Forger figure delivers excellent poseability and includes key accessories like his gun and interchangeable faces and hands, making it a solid choice for Spy x Family collectors.
What makes this figure stand out?
The S.H. Figuarts line is known for high articulation, and Loid Forger is no exception. You can recreate dynamic action poses or calm spy moments thanks to the multiple interchangeable faces and hands. The included gun adds to his spy aesthetic, though other figures shown in promotional images are sold separately.
Are there any limitations?
One limitation is that the figure does not include any diorama or backdrop pieces, so you'll need to supply your own display setup. Also, while the figure is extremely poseable, some collectors may find the joints slightly visible depending on the pose. Bandai does not specify which exact materials are used for the joints, so long-term durability is not guaranteed.
Frequently asked questions
- How many points of articulation does Loid Forger have?
- Bandai does not publish a specific articulation count for this figure, but based on the S.H. Figuarts standard, expect a full range of motion in the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, and ankles. This allows for dynamic spy poses.
- What accessories are included?
- The figure includes interchangeable faces and hands, plus his signature gun. No additional weapons or props are included. Other figures shown in promotional images are not included. If you want a full Spy x Family scene, you'll need to purchase characters like Anya or Yor separately.
- Is this figure compatible with other S.H. Figuarts figures?
- Yes, Loid Forger is in the standard 1/12 scale (about 6 inches tall) typical of S.H. Figuarts. He can be posed alongside other figures in the line, but no official compatibility information is provided by Bandai for specific hand or head swaps. Check the joint sizes if you plan to swap parts; they may not match perfectly.
- What is the price and value like?
- The catalog price is USD 46.19 (compared to a reference price of USD 69.99), making it a good value for a high-import action figure with multiple accessories. However, prices may vary by retailer.
