DC Comics MAFEX Nr. 161 The Dark Knight Returns - Superman

The articulation on this Superman is incredible—I can pose him in all the classic fight stances from the graphic novel. The head sculpt captures that older, grittier look perfectly, and the fabric cape really sells the whole figure.

The fabric cape drapes beautifully and doesn’t restrict the joints at all, so I can pose him mid-flight without any fuss. The sculpt really captures that weathered, older Superman look from the comic, and at 6.3" he fits right in with the rest of my shelf.

The articulation on this one is wild — I've got him in a flying pose mid-shelf and the joints hold perfectly without any wobble. At 6.3 inches he scales great with the rest of my collection, and the sculpt really captures that grim, older Superman look.
