Diaclone D-08 <D> Vehicles Sky Carrier

The sheer number of accessories packed in here is impressive, and the die-cast parts give it a satisfying heft that plastic alone just can't match. I've spent the last hour messing with the transformation and loading the Diaclone figure in and out of the carrier.

The massive wings and fold-out landing gear on this Sky Carrier give it such a commanding presence on my shelf, and all the included extra weapons and the pilot figure were a nice surprise. It's incredibly detailed for its size.

The Diaclone squad member included is a nice touch, but the wings on the Sky Carrier feel a bit flimsy when you pose them. Assembly took longer than I expected given the "many accessories" promise, and the whole thing just doesn't click together as satisfyingly as I hoped.
