I was a little worried about the transformation being fiddly, but the way it clicks into both modes is super satisfying. The pair of cannons actually peg in securely and the 6-inch robot mode looks great on the shelf.

The joints are surprisingly tight for a figure this size, so he holds the twin cannons in a proper firing stance without any wobble. I’ve posed him mid-dash on my shelf and the blue accents pop nicely under the light.

The transformation from speedster to robot is surprisingly smooth, and I love how the futuristic car mode looks on my shelf. Those twin cannons click into place with a satisfying snap, and the blue plastic has a nice sheen to it.
