Transformers Legacy United : Leader Sandstorm

I’ve been waiting for a proper Sandstorm figure for years, and this one’s got excellent articulation that makes posing in all three modes really satisfying. The transformation is smooth and sturdy, not fiddly like some earlier triple-changers.

The triple-changer gimmick works flawlessly here, and the robot mode’s proportions are spot-on for a Leader class. Took me a few minutes to get the alt-mode tabbing right, but once it clicks, it’s a satisfying, solid figure that feels great in hand.

Finally got Sandstorm and the triple-changing gimmick works much smoother than I expected; the vehicle-to-helicopter conversion clicks together really nicely. The articulated joints hold poses well even with the bigger robot mode. This figure is a blast to pose and transform.
