X-Transbots Master X - MX-68J Conechrome et Firehole (Version japonaise)

The joints on this thing are way tighter than I expected for a third-party figure, and Conechrome holds a pose without any shelf diving. Took me about twenty minutes to work out the spacecraft mode the first time, but the tabs all line up cleanly once you see how the panels fold.

The transformation from robot to spacecraft is surprisingly smooth for a third-party figure this size, no scary tight joints or floppy panels. Paint on the chrome parts is clean and it holds poses well on the shelf next to my official Masterpiece stuff.

The spacecraft mode looks fantastic on the shelf, and the chrome finish on the nose cone really pops under my display lights. Tabbing everything together for robot mode took me a solid twenty minutes, but the joints hold tight once it's posed.
