The new sword and articulated hands give Optimus a much better range of poses than the stock figure. I've been able to recreate several screen-accurate stances from the show without the parts feeling flimsy.

The new shoulder armor pieces snap in securely and finally give Optimus the full, bulky look he deserves. The sword blade is a nice translucent plastic that catches the light well. This really completes the figure for me.

The new jet pack pieces snap on with a satisfying click and sit flush in both modes, which is more than I can say for the stock attachments. Only gripe is the instructions are a bit vague for the leg panels, but once you figure it out it's worth the effort.
