Transform Element TE-02 Beetle

The beetle shell locks in so cleanly in robot mode that I actually display it that way most of the time, and the transformation to the bug form is a fun little puzzle that holds together well once you’re done.

The transformation sequence is surprisingly smooth for a figure this small, and the robot mode holds its pose well despite the extra parts. Took me a few tries to get the beetle shell to tab in flush, but once it clicks, it's solid. Great desk toy for fiddling with during meetings.

The beetle alt mode is a near-perfect shellformer, but the robot mode articulation is surprisingly smooth for a third-party piece. Conversion is straightforward with no tiny parts to lose, which was my biggest concern.
