A premonition of the birth of the Red Comet! The legendary pilot's first Mobile Suit, the MS-05S Zaku I, joins Gundam Fix Figuration Metal Composite! Portrayed as seen in "Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin," the figure features a new head, torso, and leg sculpt, plus a new MS machine gun (with ammo belt)! Overseen by Hajime Katoki for accuracy and faithful detail, it captures Char's beloved machine's crimson colors, accentuated by the weight of diecast metal parts.

The die-cast metal joints on this Zaku I feel incredibly solid, giving it a satisfying weight in hand. I love how the glossy red paint on the monoeye and shoulder shield really captures the pre-Red Comet design from The Origin.

Even though it’s a pre-built figure, the metal frame gives it a satisfying heft that plastic kits just can't match. The paintwork on Char's custom Zaku I is incredibly crisp, especially the subtle weathering on the monoeye. Feels like a premium piece straight out of The Origin.

The shoulder joint on this one moves with that satisfying click you want from a metal figure, and the paint job really captures that Origin-era look perfectly. Weighs a lot more than my other kits, feels like a proper collector's piece.
