I was skeptical about a third-party Shockwave, but the paint apps are surprisingly clean and the joints are tight out of the box. The transformation flows nicely between robot and alt-mode, and the purple plastic feels solid.

It was the alt-mode that sold me, and the transformation is satisfyingly chunky without being overly fiddly. The purple plastic has a nice matte finish that feels durable, though the joints on mine are a touch stiff out of the box. Solid figure for the price, just needs a bit of working in.
