Category: action figure

The latest entry in Takara Tomy's "Altered Nano" action-figure series is the AN-01 Alt Frigate! This figure was designed by Yoji Shinkawa, with mechanics by Shinji Aramaki. It features specially designed joints, including the elbows and ankles, that allow for a wide range of movement. It can be used to pilot the AN-02 AA-Cavall 1024 mech, too. A medallion to be equipped to its back is included, as is a PDW gun; three types of interchangeable hands are included too.

Sophia C. ★★★★★

The transformation on this one is insane—the way the hull folds into robot mode feels engineered to the millimeter. Shinji Aramaki's mechanical detail pops in hand, and it's a solid little tank on the shelf.

Natalie V. ★★★★★

Yoji Shinkawa's design language really shines here—the mecha detailing feels like it jumped straight out of a concept art sheet, and Aramaki's mechanical touches give it a dense, engineered weight in hand. The transformation sequence is tight and satisfying, and it holds its pose better than most fi

Ella ★★★★★

The transforming mechanism on this Alt Frigate is incredibly smooth, and the Yoji Shinkawa design aesthetic really pops in person. It’s a solid little figure that feels great in hand, and posing it was a lot of fun. Exactly what I was hoping for from this series.
