$46.49 ~~$74.99~~ In stock

Category: action figure

Estimated Release - January 2027

Prepare for double the trouble! Takara Tomy presents MPG-21 Rumble & Frenzy, bringing the iconic Special Saboteur duo from Soundwave's cassette corps into the Masterpiece G line. These figures feature a premium "Anime Color" finish, meticulously matching their appearances from the classic 1980s cartoon The Transformers.

Both figures feature a sophisticated, complete transformation from 1:1 scale cassette tapes into highly poseable robot warriors. To recreate their most famous onscreen moments, the set includes a full arsenal of accessories. Equip their signature Machine Guns for a firefight, or attach the Hammer Arms to their forearms to simulate their ground-pounding earthquake attacks. The Hammer Arms even feature a telescopic extension gimmick for dynamic action posing! (Other MPG releases are not included, sold separately.)

Finally, a proper G1-colored Rumble and Frenzy pair—the red and blue cassette decos pop exactly like the cartoon, and the fact they’re MPG-scaled means they’ll slot right into Soundwave’s chest without looking off. Pre-ordering this far out is a gamble, but I’ve waited decades for these two as a set

Watched these two since they were announced and the wait until January 2027 feels endless, but the detailing on the cassette mode alone makes the pre-order worth it. Having both Rumble and Frenzy together in one Masterpiece set is exactly what a Decepticon fan needs on the shelf.

Finally getting these two in Masterpiece scale feels like a dream, and the wait for January 2027 is going to be brutal. The fact that they're a proper cassette duo from Soundwave's crew with all the classic G1 paint details is exactly what I hoped for.
