The arm mode locks together with a satisfying click, and the transformation between forms is surprisingly intuitive for a figure this detailed.

The beast mode has real heft to it, and the joints are tight enough to hold some dynamic poses. Swapping between forms is cleverly engineered, especially how the arm mode integrates with the combiner joint. I’ve been messing with this thing for an hour and can’t decide which mode I like more.

The transformation is surprisingly smooth for a figure this complex, and the joints hold tight in both robot and arm modes. I’ve had it posed mid-attack for a week now without any sagging, which is rare.
