The airplane mode is surprisingly sleek for a triple changer, and the transformation from truck to bot feels smooth and intuitive. Hinges are tight, no floppy parts right out the box.

The triple change mechanism is surprisingly smooth for a figure this size, and the robot mode has a great silhouette. Took a few tries to get the airplane joints to lock in place, but once it clicks it stays put. Satisfied with the engineering for the price.

The truck mode locks together tighter than I expected, but getting the legs tabbed in takes some patience the first couple of times. Still, the triple change gimmick works smoothly once you've done it once or twice, so it's a solid pick for the shelf.
