S.H. Figuarts 怪獸8號 - 保科宗四郎

Pulled him out of the box and the sculpting on the face and uniform is spot-on to Hoshina's look from the show. I've been posing him in a few fight stances and the joints hold their position without feeling flimsy, which is a relief for a figure this detailed.

The articulation on this figure is fantastic—I can get him into some really dynamic slashing poses straight out of the anime. The sculpt captures Hoshina's sharp features perfectly, and it's surprisingly sturdy for how detailed it is.

The articulation on the joints is solid for posing, but the paint on the face felt a bit flat compared to the show. It captures his look well enough, though I wish the included accessories had more variety for the price.
