S.H. Figuarts 超級瑪利歐 - 瑪利歐 (再版)

The joints are surprisingly smooth, making it easy to recreate his classic jumps without any awkward gaps. It stands perfectly on its own with those tiny feet, which impressed me more than I expected.

The articulation on this figure is incredible—he holds so many poses from the games that I keep him on my desk just to fiddle with between meetings. The reissue quality feels just as solid as the original, and the accessory hands swap out really smoothly for different action scenes.

I mainly wanted this for display, but the extra hands and the mushroom accessory let me swap poses easily without worrying about paint rub. The joints are a bit stiff out of the box, though once you work them in, the articulation is fine for most dynamic stances.
