These extra pieces finally make the Studio Series Megatron look like the Decepticon leader from the movie, and the new shoulder cannon locks in place without any wobble. I’m just glad I grabbed the kit before the June release date sold out.

The replacement barrel has great weight to it, really makes Megatron's fusion cannon feel solid in hand. The whole kit transforms with the figure without any fuss, which saves me a ton of frustration during display changes.

The new accessories snap on tighter than the stock parts, so the figure actually holds poses better with the cannon attached. Waiting for the June release was rough, but the upgrade kit is worth it for collectors who want Megatron to look more screen-accurate.
