The joints are surprisingly tight out of the box, so he holds his Hadoken pose without any wobble. The 1/12 scale makes him fit perfectly next to other figures on my shelf, and the sculpted muscles in his gi look sharp up close.

The gi fabric has just the right stiffness to hold his Hadouken pose without looking bulky, and the sculpted face captures that focused fighting stare perfectly. The articulation on this Ryu is incredible—I've got him mid-Hadouken with a spinning kick on the shelf and the pose holds perfectly. The 1/12 scale fits right in with my other figures, and the joint movement lets me recreate almost every move from the game.
