Got this at the con and the metallic red finish pops way more in hand than in photos—the joint tolerances on the shoulders are tight, no floppy parts. Transformation is still a bit involved, but that's part of the fun for a limited run like this.

The transformation is tighter than I expected for a third-party figure, and the metallic purple paint on the armored mode really pops under good light. Only wish the instructions were a bit clearer for a couple of tricky steps.

The paint scheme on this recolor is what sold me—the purple and gold really pop in person, and the joints are tight right out of the box. Only gripe is the price feels steep for a limited run, but if you're after a striking shelf piece, it's worth it.
