Masterpiece - MP-13 Soundwave & Laserbeak

The transformation on this Soundwave is incredibly smooth, and the included Laserbeak fits perfectly into his chest cavity just like the cartoon. The added weight makes it feel substantial in hand, definitely a step up from the simpler figures I had as a kid.

I wasn't sure what to expect from an aftermarket figure, but the transformation is incredibly smooth and the detailing on Soundwave's chest cassette player is spot-on. Laserbeak clicks in perfectly and the whole set feels premium.

The box arrived sealed and pristine, and pulling Soundwave out felt like stepping right back into 1984. Laserbeak transforms into a cassette that fits snugly in his chest, and the robot mode is dead-on accurate to the cartoon.
