Transformers: Generations Selects Seacon - Gulf

The Gulf deco is absolutely stunning in person—that deep teal with the orange accents pops way more than the photos suggest. The joints are tight and the transformation feels solid, exactly what you'd expect from the Japanese import.

I was pleasantly surprised by how crisp the Takara Tomy paint apps are on Gulf—the metallic teal really pops in hand. The transformation is satisfyingly complex without being frustrating, and it fits perfectly with my other Seacons.

The Japanese packaging and instructions are a nice touch for collectors, though I wish the box had a window to show off the figure without opening it. Gulf itself feels solid and the articulation holds poses well during display.
