Transformers Legacy United - Deluxe G1 Universe Gears

I was a bit worried about the scale, but this Gears fits perfectly with my other deluxe class bots. The classic alt-mode transformation is just as fun as I remembered from the cartoon.

The joints on this one are surprisingly tight out of the box, which I appreciate for posing. Took a minute to get his little wings to sit flush, but once I did he looks great on the shelf next to my other Autobots.

Really like the clean retro look of this Gears figure, and the transformation is simple enough to do without the instructions. I just wish the plastic joints were a tiny bit tighter for posing. Still a solid addition to the shelf though.
