Transformers Masterpiece - MP-29 Shockwave (Laserwave)

The joints on this Shockwave are incredibly tight, and the transformation is complex but satisfying once you get the hang of it. The metallic purple paint really pops under good lighting, giving him a proper Decepticon presence on the shelf.

The purple plastic has that perfect metallic sheen, and the transformation from robot to gun mode is incredibly satisfying. The articulation in the joints feels solid, and the eye glows just like in the classic cartoon.

The transformation sequence on this one is genuinely clever, locking together tighter than I expected for a figure this old. Only real gripe is the box showed some shelf wear, but the figure itself is flawless.
