Transformers Studio Series 86 - Deluxe Kup

I’ve been waiting for a decent Kup figure, and the die-cast metal in the chest and feet gives him a satisfying weight that plastic figures lack. The transformation is intuitive without being too simple, and he looks great in both robot and car modes.

Finally got Kup in hand, and the level of movie-accurate detail on this Deluxe is incredible. The articulation is smooth enough for some great display poses, and he fits perfectly with the rest of my Studio Series shelf.

The articulation on the joints is surprisingly tight, so he holds a dynamic pose without tipping over. Only gripe is the paint apps on the chest could be a bit sharper, but the movie-inspired detailing makes up for it.
