Transformers Studio Series 86 - Deluxe Wheeljack

The transformation from robot to car is surprisingly smooth for such a small figure, and the articulation in the joints lets me pose him mid-action. The paint application on the head sculpt is crisp and clean, which really brings out the character's personality.

I was surprised how well the car panels align in robot mode—no gaps like some other figures I've had. The 18-step conversion feels satisfying once you get the hang of it, and the deco pops nicely on display.

The car mode panels click together tightly, and the robot head sculpt captures Wheeljack's movie look perfectly. Took me about 10 minutes to work through the 18-step transformation, but it's satisfying once you get it.
